Decisions

I've made several lately that are going to change how I live.
First, I've turned my notice in at the bar, my last day will be June 6th. The reason for this is I'm going to start working for the BLM again in fire as an expanded dispatcher. This potentially means long hours away from home, assignments that can last for a month before coming home... Hence the next decision. I am selling all my sheep. This has been coming for a while I guess, last years reduction was the start. Sam (of Moab) will take the four tunis (two lambs), along with Babs and Gracie. My next door neighbor will probably take the dorset Eliza and the suffolk Misty, possibly Scarlet (she originally came from there anyway, she's CA red and suffolk). I will keep the rest of the lambs from this season until they are ready to be sold. This is not a decision I make lightly, and it will affect everything from my taxes to my psyche.
Another decision is not to replace the chickens; coyotes got to them again, all of them dead, most dead from fear it looked like. The coyotes pried through the fence at the join and since I really didn't think they'd be able to get in ANY where much less there, I decided to wait for a bit till I can afford better accommodations for them before potentially putting any in danger again.
I wont be posting here again until I have something positive to say, hoping I will have a little time off between jobs so I can get my yen back in tune with my yang :) Haven't fibered enough lately...
Hoping you all have a wonderful spring and productive summer!
