The 'Ickies'

For the last three days I have felt 'icky'.
I have a cold in my head and it has moved into my chest where it is, it seems, determined to wait out the winter.
I looked at my blog on Sunday, looking for those people who had posted wanting to be a part of 'Pay It Forward' and to my consternation, no one had posted other than Michelle of Boulderneigh, who is already a part of the circle. Nothing like rejection to fuel a cold.

Well, this morning what do I find but two more posters, Astrig, who definitely wants to be a part of PIF and Julie, who I'm not sure about. I need snail mail addresses from the two of you so I can get your yarn in the mail. If you dont knit or crochet, you can always gift the yarn to someone who does!

It has been a miserable three days, other than my ailments, it has been windy, cold, snowy and generally 'icky' inside and out. It is still 'icky' outside, and I still feel 'icky' inside, but I am starting to feel better :)

I am so sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. We have the same conditions here...plus being house-bound due to the weather is not fun, although I have plenty of spinning to do.

Even my sheep are bored with nothing to do but eat and sleep. They love the snow and like to romp in it for about 5 minutes, then look at me as if to say: "OK, that was fun. Now what else is there?"

Sorry to hear about the ickies! Hope you feel better soon. Around here we are keeping Kleenex handy. Hot tea with Lemon, maybe?

The weather is icky here, too, but so far we're staying healthy. I hope YOU are healthy soon, too! And don't feel too bad about the PIF -- or maybe I should feel bad WITH you -- because I only had one for sure response, too -- YOU! I really am surprised that more people don't want to "play"....

Don't worry bout me, just the negativity from the cold showing through :)
People are too busy now-days, not saying that I'm not, but I thought it would be fun. It is fun actually, even if only one person decides to play... I love to share.

Sorry Becky - I wanted to post but just can't do a PIF right now. I'm home today with the ickys - makes me mad to have to use a sick day the first month of the year. So we'll play with dye next month and take time to laugh, right???

Oh, I'll play. I have a dear friend and neighbor who raises tunis and knits (she just gave me a lovely scarf) who would love the yarn! I'll e-mail you my contact information.

Now to play, I then need to do a PIF on my blog? Is that how it works? (I'm a little slow here....)

Julie, at this point, if you want to do a PIF on your blog, please do, but I wont fine you if you dont ;-)

Just a note to everyone; PIF is a great way to share IMHO, but its not something to feel guilty about not doing. I never meant it to do that.
