Merry Christmas to me, Merry Christmas to me!

I bought this culitivated Mullberry Silk in my Mom's name for myself for Christmas; the colors aren't showing up very well on my now short-timer camera. I have decided my Christmas present this year is a nice camera, I haven't had one for quite awhile, just not sure which one it will be yet.
We had family and friends over for dinner today, we had prime rib and rack of lamb.... ohhh just thinking back makes my mouth water all over again! We stuffed ourselfs to the point of pain (I think its called gluttony, but it was fabulous), then sat down and watched WALL-E! Very cute movie :)

I got my White Christmas, it snowed almost all day.

Tomorrow I have to get up at 4:30 AM, take the DH to the parking lot to catch the bus to work, then come home and wait for the insurance adjuster to look at my poor little car, then go to Elko for some 'After Christmas' shopping!

Stay warm!

Gorgeous! I'm glad you had such a nice family Christmas. We were supposed to go to DS's home for Christmas dinner but elected to stay off the roads and stay warm. I was fine with that.

Pretty fiber. We have something in common over Christmas. Bob and I went to our sons Christmas eve and watched Wall-E also! Cute movie even Bob liked it. He's not much on cartoons!

Yes, beautiful (SHINY!) fiber, and I hope you find a camera you like. Maybe today? The roads near our house are still bad enough that I doubt I'll attempt any shopping today; don't really need anything anyway. But the thaw continues, so next week should be back to normal around here.

That silk is just beautiful and your spinning too. I have never tried to spin that...maybe I'll will have to try it. Glad the kids are okay after the accident. I'd love to try a scrunchie, have you shared your pattern? I'll have to glance at your archives. Have a Happy New Year!
