I cant seem to get in the right light so you can see the details well, although you can definately see where this ball of yarn starts! I dont know what I am going to do, I guess I will have to order more pink Cushing's and dye it again after I finish it. Orrrrr, do any of you wonderful ladies have any suggestions? I'm pretty new to dying and colors are not my best suit.
Other than the hue issue, it is coming along great!

You'll have to overdye it - and I'm not sure if you'll get it a consistent color or not... however that said - it's a lovely piece of work and I wish my knitting looked as nice.
I have a Tunis question for you - I have about 12 more pounds of the fiber coming back in a few weeks from the mill - from the local shepard I buy from. How is the Yarn from this breed on Pilling?
I don't know what I'm doing here either but if you over dye will the light parts still be a bit lighter than the rest of the yarn?
I would think you'd want to over dye the yarn before you crochet. Laura would be good at this!
I agree, over dye or paint. If you lay it out and paint it, it will be inconsistant, but will look like it is suppose to be. Also isn't this a start of the beautiful baby blanket? If so, alternate your light and dark till you finish, or dye one of the already dyed skeins even a little darker. I have always found if you can't match, make it different. It will look like you intended it to be that way. It can still look very subtle in colors.With all the same color, just different shades at random it will not detract from the design and will be very interesting with depth.
I guess I have about 4 different ideas there, but that's the way my mind works unfortunately :)

Ok, Ok - I'll weigh in!! Yes, if you overdye, the light parts will still be lighter. I would try to balance the stripes, if you can, and make it look like you meant to do that... This is the only time that my motto (When in doubt, overdye) is not appropriate. It looks cool (warm), though!

Not a dyer by any means, but my first thought was just to continue a striped theme, and it seems the dyers out there concur! I think it would be cool in varying shades of pink stripes!
