Clean Living?

How did that song go? Green Acres is the place for me.... something about open country side and fresh air... HA

Yes, that is dirt. We have had some nasty wind storms here in the past week. This one was on Friday, the last one was a week ago today and looked just as bad. The first picture is of my neighbors house, we are on 5 acre, long parcels. The second one is to the East of the house, they ain't nothin' out there! But there is really, houses gallor. The third is towards the sheep pens of course, and there is a house back there also, if you look close on the left. Poor sheepies, and horses, and people of course. You would think by now all our dirt would be in Utah.

It was uggggly!

All that dirt is amazing! As long as our neighbors don't disk their property we don't get the dust storms like you. We do have some city folk move out here and disk the "weeds" off their land so there is no brush to keep the dust storms down! At least it's not hard to wash out of fleece if you can stop the VM from coming with the wind!

We don't get THAT here, and am I ever glad! Hard enough to keep things dusted as it is....

We're not far behind you...Even with the pines, I still dust only to find it an inch think (not really, but I can write in it) the next day. Plus my asthma has been "active" with the dust and the juniper pollen. Oi!
I'd say come this way, but we're not much better. And we had the winds too...just awful! Today is the first day I've left the moms and lambs in the pasture. The winds were strong enough to blow the lambs over before.
See what you have and I have been experiencing...I can't begin to imagine what the Dust Bowl folks had to endure.
