Yes, this is my car. My son was driving himself, his sister and a friend to school and got t-boned by some guy driving too fast in the snow.The story is long and convoluted, but in the end, even though the other driver (an adult that had dropped his kid off at school) had tried to make the cop believe that his car had sustained multiple injuries from this encounter, through no fault of his own, was found at fault and I was told by said cop that I did not under any circumstances need to give this guy my policy number.

Praise the Lord the cop didn't believe the lie; he DOES have insurance to cover your damage, doesn't he? Your heart must have dropped to your toes when you heard the words, "Mom, we were in an accident." So glad no one got hurt! Tell everyone to stay home and have a safe and merry Christmas.
