Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

This was the scene outside my office 5 minutes ago;
By the time I downloaded this picture, and went back out side to take the next one...
5 minutes later, it has almost stopped and is already melting... It will pick up again though :)

Beamer posed for me last night when I was taking pictures of yarn to sell on eBay; in't he bootiful!

Then there is Zip, Tug and Kujo. You don't think they are posing do you?
So, not much happening here, had a long weekend at the community Christmas party, where we had a vendors table for the 4-H Livestock Club. We sold evergreen wreaths and handed out literature for the club. Its always nice when the kids come together to accomplish something. Sunday was spent lounging in my robe, mostly because my heater isnt working properly, and experimenting with my carder, and a little spinning mixed in.

Our snow is consistently inconsistent, isn't it? I stopped on my way to work to catch a shot of unmelted snow. The glare kills my eyes on the drive in, yet there's no snow where I work. This storm has been consistently inconsistent.

That is the one thing you can count on in northern Nevada, inconsistancy :)

I had to show your recent post to my DH - he partially grew up in Henderson, but also the family had lived for a bit up in N. NV. He made the comment that it reminded him of N. AZ, as soon as you leave the Flagstaff area, the terrain looks very similar.
We, too, have very inconsistant weather. We can get 24 inches of snow, yet on the east side of Flag, they get 3 inches. We get rain, they are dry. I've learned to shrug, and know at the very least it makes for an interesting bit of life. :)
